Are you a detail-oriented professional who enjoys supporting people and processes? ANDRITZ is seeking a Human Resources Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering quality HR support. You will contribute to a variety of HR activities, including employee record management, onboarding and offboarding coordination, reporting, and HR administration, helping ensure our HR processes run smoothly and efficiently.
What You Will Be Doing
Here’s an overview of your responsibilities and how you can leverage your expertise:
- Respond to general employee inquiries and direct requests to the appropriate HR resource when required.
- Organize, maintain, and safeguard employee records, files, and HR documentation.
- Enter, update, audit, and maintain employee information in HR systems and databases.
- Develop, maintain, and quality-check HR forms, templates, correspondence, presentations, procedures, and employee communications, using complex formatting, formulas, fields, and data-driven features as required and ensuring content, formatting, and version control remain accurate and current.
- Provide administrative support for recruitment activities, as required.
- Support onboarding activities by preparing new-hire documentation, coordinating orientation activities, and ensuring required information is completed and recorded.
- Support employee changes and offboarding activities by preparing documentation, updating systems, and coordinating administrative requirements.
- Provide administrative support for performance management, training, employee engagement, and other HR programs.
- Compile, reconcile, maintain, and distribute routine HR reports and metrics, investigate data discrepancies, and coordinate corrections or follow-up as required.
- Track deadlines, approvals, and outstanding documentation to help ensure timely completion of HR processes.
- Maintain the organization’s job descriptions, coordinating periodic reviews and updates to ensure responsibilities, qualifications, organizational information, and document standards remain accurate and current.
- Maintain the HR SharePoint site, ensuring content is accurate, current, well organized, and accessible to the appropriate audiences, with effective document management and version control.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Participate in HR projects and process-improvement initiatives as assigned.
- Adhere to and apply HR policies and procedures to support compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.

What We’re Looking For
When selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following essential skills, abilities, and experience:
- Diploma or degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of directly related education and experience.
- Relevant experience in HR administration, business administration, or a related administrative support role.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, particularly Word, Excel, and SharePoint, including complex document formatting, templates, forms, formulas, data validation, report reconciliation, content management, and version control.
- Experience using information systems or databases; experience with an HR information system, particularly SAP SuccessFactors, is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and follow-up requirements.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare accurate employee communications and HR documentation.
- Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills, with a professional and solutions-oriented approach.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to follow established procedures, identify discrepancies, and escalate non-routine or sensitive matters appropriately.
Other valued experience, knowledge, skills and abilities (preferred):
- Human resources certification or progress toward certification.
- Experience supporting a diverse or geographically distributed workforce.
- Fluency in Canadian French.
Compensation commensurate with experience: 50,000 to 70,000 based on a 40-hour work week.
